| The most important difference between the 90 hp North American diesels and the Euro 110 hp version of the same motor is high-flow fuel injectors. These fuel injectors are at the heart of the direct injected diesels. The main difference between these different fuel injectors is the design of the nozzles! Nozzles are the most critical wear part of the injector assembly that is replaced when worn injectors are "remanufactured". Modern Diesel engines are extremely efficient, but the high fuel injection pressures needed for optimum atomizing require spray nozzles with exceedingly precise tolerances. Before KERMaTdi, the only choice for upgrading or replacing worn injectors was buying complete nozzle-and-holder assemblies from the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM). When you buy complete injectors, the manufacturer asks for the cores back. The cores are cleaned up a bit, fitted with new nozzles, and sold back to the next reman customer for big bucks. You don't need to buy the whole injector assembly, when all you really need is the nozzles!! KERMaTdi and Fratelli Bosio offer a great upgrading or rebuilding alternative for us car nuts who want to enhance our "economy" cars. "Remanufacture" your own injectors to Euro Spec, or any diesel shop can do it cheap. But you need the nozzles! Get em here.
